JOHN CROUSE, is an Industrial Arts graduate of SUNY Oswego with graduate credits from RIT in furniture design and construction.
John's interest in woodworking dates back to an early age when he bought his first table saw at age 13. When John was 15 he built a 12' runabout boat. From his workshop in Wolcott New York, John spent many years producing high-end cabinetry for the Oswego region of NY.
An artist at heart and retired from the custom cabinetry, he now produces handcrafted, unique staved wood bowls and other skillfully crafted wooden works of art.
For many years John traveled across the Northeast sharing his work with enthusiasts on the professional craft fair circuit. In 2006 one of his bowls were in a juried show, in a gallery on the Penn State Campus.
John takes great pride in all of his work and he signs and dates every piece he produces.
